Entertainment for Children

                        The Pet Farm

A great experience for all children to see different farm animals, especially those who live in the city.  There isn't usually an entrance fee, but there is a donation box to help feed these wonderful animals.

"As a child, one has that magical capacity to move among the many eras of the earth;
to see the land as an animal does;
to experience the sky from the perspective of a flower or a bee;
to feel the earth quiver and breathe beneath us;
to know a hundred different smells of mud and listen unself-consciously
to the sowing of the trees."
~ Valerie Andrews (A passion for this earth)

A beautiful stone bridge over a pond with ducks

Properly cultivated, these values can mature into ecological literacy,

Buffalo Rally 2011

The Buffalo Rally has been visiting Mossel Bay for the past six years.  This is a very exciting event with about 6 000 bikers visiting Mossel Bay for a long weekend, usually in March.  Most of the locals look forward to this event every year, and the children that receive toys from them are just as happy.  The bikers and bikes are quite fascinating to watch.  This is the biggest fund-raising event for the Mossel Bay Round Table, which benefits local charities.
